Grand launch in India
In the precense of more than 150 representatives from media and the NCR educational community the new Indian company Kunskapsskolan Eduventures and its first school Kunskapsskolan Gurgaon, to be opened in 2013, was launched in an event in Delhi on July 29.
"This will be the first Glocal school in the region. Based on the Indian IPC and CBSE exam boards, deeply anchored in Indian values and the local community at the same time as it use the KED program and prepares the student's for a life in the Global community", said Mr Odd Eiken, EVP of Kunskapsskolan.
Mr Kunal Bhadoo, CEO of Kunskapsskolan Eduventures said " I have travelling around the world looking at different school models that could make a difference and the KED program is one of its kind. Our vision is to combine a proven program for the 21st century with best of Indian tradition and standards" Ms Sunitha Nambiar, Project and Program Director of Kunskapsskolan Eduventures also announced that the school is now open for admission on its new web site. Kunskapsskolan will be a K12 school, located in the DLF Phase 1 area of Gurgaon in the National Capital Region. |
