Kunskapsskolan owns and operates 34 schools in Sweden with 10,000 students. All of the schools are Free Schools and are operated according to the KED program. In addition to these, Kunskapsskolan in Sweden have two Learning Camps (Kunskapssgården) and also operates KNC - Kunskapsskolans Natural Science Center, a Center of Excellence developing students and learning methodology in Natural Sciences and Math.

CEO of Kunskapsskolan i Sverige AB Per Ledin studied law at Uppsala University. He spent 27 years as an entrepreneur, consultant and manager in the public relations and presentations industry and served on numerous board of directors before joining Kunskapsskolan in 2002. Per Ledin has also attended the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School and has a keen interest in business strategy, marketing, customer satisfaction and quality processes.
