Kunskapsskolan is the sponsor of the Learning Schools Trust, operating academy schools according to the Kunskapsskolan Educational (KED) Program.

The Learning Schools Trust is the charity established in the UK, by Academy sponsor Kunskapsskolan, to operate a group of Academies using a common pedagogic approach, curriculum and operational structure based on the successful Kunskapsskolan model of personalised learning. The Trust currently operates Twickenham Academy, Hampton Academy, Ipswich Academy and Elizabeth Woodville Schools.

Kunskapsskolan in the UK also provide development and management services and the KED program to schools.

Steve Bolingbroke

Steve Bolingbroke trained as a secondary Science teacher at Nottingham Trent University. He spent 17 years developing computer systems for the airline business before joining RM plc in 1997. RM is the UK´s largest provider of IT systems to education. At RM Steve Bolingbroke was responsible for a wide range of education businesses including; interactive teaching resources, teacher training, school inspections and data collection & analysis. He has been a Governor of both primary and secondary schools in England. Steve Bolingbroke started to work with Kunskapsskolan in 2004 after visiting schools in Sweden. He joined Kunskapsskolan in 2008 to head up the program to open schools in the UK.
