Kunskapsskolan´s organization places a strong emphasis on pedagogical and conceptual development that involves both the teachers in our schools and resources in our centralized centers of excellence.
Our research and development units for curriculum development, Learning Portal development, management/organizational structure, and IT are the core functions for the continuous advancement of the educational program and are the common centers of excellence for all schools.
Kunskapsskolan i Sverige AB owns and operates all Kunskapsskolan schools in Sweden.
Through our joint venture in India, we operate Kunskapsskolan schools in India. KED has developed a comprehensive Indian version of the KED Program and an Indian complete K12 Learning Portal based on the Indian IPC and CBSE standards.
The joint venture Kunskapsskolan Nederland develops and provides Kunskapsskolan's offering in the Netherlands. We are collaborating with and supporting schools that are on the journey towards personalized education.
Kunskapsskolan’s British activities are run in a partnership with University of Bolton and its International Centre for Educational
Enhancement, ICEE.
KED has established a partnership to provide the Swedish company’s innovative methodology to charter schools run by the Great Oaks Foundation (GO).
Kedtech is Kunskapsskolan's subsidiary for development of Educational technology and Services in emerging economies. Kedtech has ongoing activities in the Middle East and through a joint venture is operating a school in KSA.

Cecilia was a member of the team that started Kunskapsskolan in 1999. Since 2009, she has been working on developing the international expansion of Kunskapsskolan. Cecilia has a Master of Law from the University of Stockholm and an EMBA from the Stockholm School of Economics.
The Kunskapsskolan schools are among the leading schools of Sweden. The success of its KED Program can be judged not only by students’ performance being higher than the Swedish national average, but also by the growth of KED schools across international boundaries. Currently, over 100 KED schools and KED Inspired schools are operational across Sweden, UK, the Netherlands, India, USA and the Middle East. The schools follow the curriculum of each country and grade student performance according to national standards.
