The quality of a school ultimately rests on the quality of the teacher’s work, coupled with the principal’s support and involvement as a leader. We are looking for dedicated teachers who believe in the concept of personalized education, and would like to join us in our mission to educate the global generation.
A teacher’s role in the KED Program consists of four parts: Being a subject expert, a personal coach, a general teacher and a team member.
Subject expert: In collaboration with your colleagues, you are responsible for planning and conducting lectures, seminars, workshops and other types of learning sessions in your subject field.
Personal coach: You have individual personal coaching sessions with a specific set of students at the school on a regular basis. Personal coaching includes instructing and guiding students in their academic, personal and social progress.
General teacher: You are a support resource for all students in the school to inspire learning, motivation and community spirit.
Team member: Our teachers collaborate locally at the school, as well as with colleagues from other schools in the KED Network. The teachers are organized in teams who work together to plan, review, develop and evaluate their work. The professional development of teachers is a major focus of the KED Program.
