The KED Network is a vital part of who we are. Linking educators and students together in a global network stimulates continuous improvement of our offering, while it promotes global understanding and new perspectives.
We operate in different ways and in different educational systems, but we all share the same belief in personalized education. From this platform, we can give each other feedback, learn from one another and evolve.
Leaders, teachers and students in the KED Network meet, exchange experiences and learn from each other.
In the United Kingdom, the KED Network includes Shevington High School, a KED Inspired school with 900 students and 180 teachers, following the national curriculum. As a KED Inspired school, Shevington shares the KED vision and values and uses personal coaching and goal setting as the basis for a more personalized education for every student. KED also collaborates with Whole Education, a UK non-profit organisation and an international community of education leaders committed to giving every child a holistic education. Through membership, leadership programmes, communities of practice and conferences, Whole Education helps schools learn from each other and build a well-rounded education for life, learning and work. In January 2026, Christian Wetell spoke at the Whole Education conference on global perspectives of personalized education.
The Kunskapsskolan schools are among the leading schools of Sweden. The success of its KED Program can be judged not only by students’ performance being higher than the Swedish national average, but also by the growth of KED schools across international boundaries. Currently, over 100 KED schools and KED Inspired schools are operational across Sweden, UK, the Netherlands, India, USA and the Middle East. The schools follow the curriculum of each country and grade student performance according to national standards.
